Financial Systems Project Manager

SUMMARY:

Centessa is seeking an experienced Manager specializing in Oracle products and technologies, including premier integrated applications and experience with project management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oracle ERP Integration: Design and deliver Oracle ERP-based functional requirements, integrating with finance systems like ADP, Concur, Blackline, Workiva, and FP&A systems.
  • Supporting Technologies: Cloud Financials AP, AR, GL, FA, Cash Management (MA), Procurement (PO), Projects Module, Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW).
  • System Design Management: Manage end-to-end system design, including API and data flow integrations.
  • Project Leadership: Lead projects with a focus on finance systems in areas like tax, billing/payments, accounting, and FP&A.
  • Training and Reporting: Develop user guides, provide cross-functional team training, and design reports/dashboards.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate long-term vision and collaborate on feature development and enhancements.
  • Lifecycle Management: Lead software lifecycle phases, participate in Architectural Review Committees, manage project communications.
  • Audit Partnership: Partner with Managed Service Provider for SOX and security audits.
  • Adaptability and Interaction: Adapt methods for optimal solutions and interact effectively with management and peers.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work on Applications Issues related to AP, AR, FA, CM and GL and support all financial modules.
  • Provide support for month-end activities that include taking all the proactive measures for a successful period close (e.g. informing the business in taking the decisions).
  • Test the Oracle quarterly releases in the lower instances.
  • Provide functional support to the tech team in developing the reports and performing testing.
  • Proficient with building reports to achieve greater transparency, realize efficiencies and drive business decision support activities.
  • Lead efforts around design, testing and implementation of Custom and Seeded/OTB Roles to reduce impact to SOD conflicts.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors concerning financial systems and year-end audit that includes financial audit, BCP and cybersecurity.
  • Manage workflow and ticketing regarding BPM approvals - Invoice Approval Rules, Journal rules, Requisitions and Purchase Order Approval Rules.
  • Oversee the new release features and implementing the same in dev, test, and prod.
  • Coordinate with the Managed Service Provider’s technical team for the development of reports, payment formats and migrations.
  • Hands-on experience on OTBI reporting and knowledge on BI publisher reports. (e.g. FAW).
  • Holds functional understanding of legal entity activities and consolidation through EPM/FCCS/EPBCS; designs and oversees different test cases.
  • Trouble shoot and support various integration issues concerning ADP to GL, Concur to GL issues and ADP Employee Integration issues.
  • Lead integrations and resolves issues through ADP to Oracle, Concur to Oracle, Equity Edge to ADP, and Blackline to Oracle.
  • Responsibility as primary resource for resolution of support casework between Oracle and Managed Service Provider.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: 7-10 years in finance, ERP consulting implementation, and working with accounting departments and FP&A systems.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Oracle Cloud platform and architecture, EBS R12 & Fusion, Financials Accounting Hub, Advanced Collections, Treasury, Risk Management.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in commerce or related field; Advanced Degree preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Specialized Experience: Oracle Cloud ERP/FCCS/EPBCS/FAW/Projects configuration and implementation.

  • Hands-On Experience: Oracle Applications Functional Consultant experience that includes configuration and report building.
  • In-depth Knowledge: Profound knowledge of Oracle ERP/EPBCS and related systems.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership in product and project management.
  • Oracle Systems Familiarity: Familiar with Oracle Cloud ERP data model, Fusion Analytics Warehouse, and middleware like Boomi.
