Jamie Coleman, PhD, is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at LockBody Therapeutics. He is a serial entrepreneur with twenty years of experience building companies, and a physiology, software, and data analytics expert. Jamie began his career in Cardiovascular Physiology before setting up his own software companies.
Jamie is the Co-Founder and Chair of CodeBase, the UK’s largest tech incubator with companies such as FanDuel, Outplay, Administrate, CareSourcer and Machines with Vision. CodeBase companies have raised in excess of $750M and created over 3,000 new jobs in Edinburgh over the past seven years.
Jamie also co-founded UltraHuman, a cancer drug discovery company, which produced the spinouts of Granular Therapeutics, UltraHuman Eight, Ltd., and LockBody Therapeutics.
He is the Founder of the Turing Festival; a Board member of The Edinburgh International Festival; a Board member of ScotlandIS and a Board Member of the Creative Industries Federation.
Jamie has been involved in the interface between software, healthcare, and investment for many years.
